Oakland Police seek public help to locate missing woman Arlene Mason

The Oakland Police Department announced on Apr. 6 that it is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Arlene Mason, a missing woman considered at risk due to medical conditions.

According to police, Mason was last seen on March 11 in the area of West MacArthur Boulevard and Broadway. She is also known to frequent the area of 23rd Street and San Pablo Avenue. At the time she was last seen, Mason was wearing a brown hoodie and black leggings.

Mason is described as a 67-year-old Black female who stands between 5 feet 1 inch and 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds. She has white hair and brown eyes.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Mason’s whereabouts to contact the Oakland Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at (510) 238-3641.
